Caspian (name meaning both ‘of the sea’, and a purple form of Limonium called Caspia) is a wonderfully soft bear, hand-sewn from thick, soft variegated hand-dyed alpaca fur. The colour of his ears, arms, chest and legs ranges from pale teal blue through to deep lilac; with panda-like white alpaca face and body.
Caspian has glass button eyes, purple ultrasuede paw pads, and a perle cotton handstitched nose. He is filled with 100% Australian wool filling.
Caspian is 28.5cm / 11in tall when standing (but prefers to sit), and is fully disc and T-pin jointed. He wears a variegated green silk ribbon.
Caspian comes with a swing tag listing his name, date of birth, and materials used; and has an ultrasuede tag in his lower back with ‘Bearly Bears 2020’.
Caspian is a wonderful purchase for a collector, or as an ornamental gift for a child; however, due to small parts, he is not suitable as a toy for children under 14.
